Loosen Up Your Paintings!

Live Zoom Workshop: Learn simple techniques for looser paintings

Hi, I'm Patti. If you want to learn how to paint more loosely and
expressively,  watch my video ... I've got a great workshop lined up for you!

Loosen Up Your Paintings!

This is an exericise-oriented workshop designed to offer students new ways to energize their paintings and paint the subject in a more dynamic style. All levels are welcome!
NOTE: This course is the first of an ongoing series. Stay tuned for Loosen Up Series II, offering additional loosening up techniques.

Are you tired of overworking your paintings, concentrating too much on the small details,
only to end up with a painting that is stiff, tight and too fussy?

• Have you ever wished you could paint in a free, less precise style rather than copying small details?
• Do you paint exactly what you see in a realism style,  or do you allow yourself to experiment freely?
• Would you like to learn to add dynamic energy into your paintings with juicy, luscious brushwork?
If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, the workshop was designed just for YOU.

🎨 Cheryl M.: "I've taken several workshops with Patti, both in person and online. Her courses are positively wonderful as she is both well organized in her material and open-hearted in her delivery. It's rare to find an artist as brilliant as she is who can also break down the underlying constructs for a wide range of students with such clarity. There is much to learn, and Patti makes it fun, interesting and attainable!"
